I thought that a presence on Facebook was almost mandatory for anyone in the entertainment industry these days? Finding someone who's not on Facebook is like finding a teenager without a smartphone. Everyone I know seems to live and breathe on social platforms.

Sure man,
It's primarily a platform for people or corporations to share their racist misinformation, conspiracy theories, and lies, thus turning human beings against each other.
Especially today, with the inception of AI, you don't know what is real and what isn't. Plus, a large portion of Facebook accounts are bots collecting information you probably wouldn't feel good about anyone having.
Not soon enough, it and the rest of them will go the way of 'Myspace' and others that actually caused more harm than good.
