Sweet Memories at approximate location 2:43-2:46

Post by Allen Howington »

The live YouTube version of Sweet Memories dedicated to John Hughey by the Time Jumpers at approximate location 2:43-2:46. Would someone share with me the tablature to that short riff John plays in there? It sounds like he is playing 100 notes in those few seconds. I have just messed with it so much I think I'm brain dead to it... any help would be very much appreciated.

Allen try this, to me it sounds like one on John’s signature moves with the B to Bb lever. You’ll have to add some bar wiggle at spots to get his style around 2:46 for sure.. :)

I haven't listened to that in awhile. A masterful job by the Time Jumpers on a great song. John Huey's signature tone high on the neck is so clear and smooth.

Gordy, thanks so much for your time and help. I can't wait to try this,
right now we're under sleet and snow with all it's glory at the present
time. Just wanted to say thanks for now and will talk later on when
we both can...

Steel buddy,
