Mid 50s Stringmaster question
Did Fender make Stringmasters in the mid-late 50s that had single necks AND 24” scale lengths?
I have a 55 single but it is 22 1/2” length.I haven’t seen any with 24”. My D8 and T8 are both 24”.
Thanks!

Re: Mid 50s Stringmaster question
No, the single necks are called Deluxes and they only came in short scale. Stringmasters came in 3 scale lengths.

This 26" scale, made for some fierce slants on the lower frets.
Excel 3/4 Pedal With An 8 String Hawaiian Neck, Sierra Tapper (10 string with a raised fretboard to fret with fingers), Single neck Fessenden 3/5

Re: Mid 50s Stringmaster question
I have a 26" scale Stringmaster and I guess I didn't know better but have no problem with slants.
