That's pretty impressive all around! I hope everyone enjoyed the show. The Texas native set an all-time attendance record for a ticketed concert in the United States, previously held by The Grateful Dead who had 107,019 fans in attendance at their 1977 show at Raceway Park in New Jersey.

My buddy's cousins own Raceway Park, and I told him about George beating the old record, he said his cousin would be bummed
My brother was at that show, the New Riders with Buddy Cage, Marshall Tucker and the Dead.
That show is available and was broadcast on W-NEW radio live. The Dead played a lot from their current album at the time 'Blues for Allah'
