More pedals, for Pete's sake
Why do so many settle for the "standard" setup of 8 floor pedals when there is more to be had...and, all the guitars I know of are set up for 10?

My old Dekley is "kind of" loaded, but I built it myself after hours.

A very fine player once asked me one time,
"carl, do you think it is wrong to add another knee lever on my guitar?" He had 8 and 9 at the time.
I said,
"If you are adding it because so and so has it, probably yes. But if you hear a sound in your head and you can get that sound by adding a pedal and/or a knee lever, put that sapsucker on there!"
Who made the rules? And who decided that it was a "no-no" to have more than 8 and 4?
