Hi Graham, MacArthur Mall is located in downtown Norfolk, Va. and the "Beach Street USA" program is located in Va. Beach, Va. on Atlantic Ave., one block off the beachfront. The "Beach Street USA" program is a variety of acts consisting of primarily all different kinds musical styles. In the past we have had a Pantomime artist as well as Hawaiian style music and dancers. These acts will perform on the sidewalk simultaneiously over an area that of about 10 city blocks. They try to put about 2 acts per block so if you get bored with one act there is a different one just a few steps away.
BTW, I will be doing Steel honors for an Hawaiian Luao at the "Hooters" Club/Restaurant located in Va. Beach on March 5th. There are more than one "Hooters" but I don't know at this time which one will have the "Luao". I will post the street address at a later time shud anyone reading this be interested.
If any vacationers are plannin on coming to Va. Beach, check us out and come up and say hello.

Hi John, it was originally referred to as "5th National Banque" located on Little Creek Rd., in Norfolk, but it is now called "The Banque" and is still going strong. They do not use any local bands/musicians at all. All the acts are "out of town" acts.

Thanks Kenny -
I used to go dancing there about six nights a week in '82 when I was at the Army's Maintenance Officer and Test Pilot School at Ft. Eustis. Love that area. Heck, it may be worth a summer vacation trip to see you two play.
