Can anyone help please?

Post by John A. Russell »

Many years ago, I bought the "Slide" CD

On the CD there is a track by John Hughey, called "True Love"

At around 2 minutes, John does a run, that I have tried to figure ever since I have had the CD.

I have asked all the steel players I know, but no one can show me how to play it.

Is there any steeler out there who can help me?.

In hope

Kind Regards

John Russell

I know this is not correct, but it's as close as I can get.

Fast triplett but within one eighth note, picking each string sequentially like a Trill.

Thanks so much.
I am away visiting my grandchildren in Thailand, so I only just saw this.

I do appreciate the effort you have gone to.

Can't wait to try it when I get home.

Kind regards.

HR.
